“Sechs Präsidenten bitte”

Wie man im Irak neuerdings Bier kauft:

A 20-year-old man entered a liquor shop in Baghdad and asked for “Six Mam Jalals.” The shopkeeper went to his refrigerator without hesitation and withdrew six cans of Tuborg beer.

To most, Mam Jalal is, of course, the name of Iraqi president Jalal Talabani.

In recent months, however, his name has also become associated with this specific brand of beer. For some observers the short, round shape of the Tuborg can bears more than a passing resemblance to the president himself.
