Nein, die neuen UN-Sanktionen – massiv verschärft durch die USA, EU und Kanada – bekommen der Islamischen Republik Iran offensichtlich nicht. Und weil man die große weite Welt nur aufgrund des eigenen Horizonts versteht, also Wahn & Propaganda oder Hass & Schmeichelei die Eckpfeiler dieser Weltsicht darstellen, agiert man längst wie die eigene Karrikatur. Berechenbar und trotzig. Und da man also die Europäer in den letzten Jahren vorgeführt hat wie die letzten Deppen – die Rolle haben die Europäer allerdings auch zu gerne gegeben -, versucht es die iranische Tagespropaganda nun mit öliger Schmeichelei, sanfter Ermahnung und großherzigem Verständnis.

Das geht so: „Iran — in an equal position — is eager to expand its ties with Europe and welcomes an independent Europe in its foreign policy,“ Mottaki [der iranische Außenminister] said during a meeting with Ireland’s new ambassador to Iran, Oliver Grogan, in Tehran on Wednesday.
Iran’s top diplomat noted that the EU’s recent decision to impose sanctions on the Islamic Republic indicates a lack of independence in decision-making by the 27-member bloc.
He added that EU policies in recent years have led Tehran to shift the focus of Iran’s foreign relations away from Europe.

Ja, liebe Europäer, seht euch vor! Aber man hat überdies plötzlich so ein seltsames Verständis in Teheran für diese schwachen Europäer, die sich ja eigentlich bloß unter der Knute des großen Satans ducken, und appelliert diplomatisch an ihren Geschäftssinn. Und besorgt weist man darauf hin, wer das eigentliche Opfer der Sanktionen sei:

„These sanctions will in practice deprive European firms of the opportunity to work with Iran. Therefore Europe and European companies will be the first to feel the blow of these actions,“ Head of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Wednesday.
Boroujerdi made the comments after the European Union on Monday adopted new sanctions against Iran, which mainly target the country’s financial and energy sectors.
He criticized the 27-member bloc for following „US policies and decisions“ and said, „The European Union imposed these unilateral sanctions under US pressure; therefore, we must not overlook the fact that Europeans have no independence in their decision-making.“
„Due to their weakness in front of the US, the Europeans are forced to accept and obey the decisions made or dictated to Europe by Washington,” ISNA quoted the Iranian lawmaker as saying.

Und da gleich nochmal, am Ende sind die Europäer noch schwerhörig:

In the wake of new European Union (EU) sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program, Tehran says the punitive moves question the independence of the 27-member block.
„The European Union is following the US in taking steps blindly and in a wrong path. Its obedience to the US has questioned its dignity and independence,“ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday.

Kein Schiff wird kommen

Wie wir bereits wissen, ist die Islamische Republik Iran nach Selbstaussagen ihrer Protagonisten ja im Grunde längst eine Supermacht, unbesiegbar sowieso, die neuen Sanktionen fördern bloß das Wirtschaftswachstum und größer, schöner & stärker ist niemand auf der Welt. Oder so ähnlich.

„Iran independent of world powers“ titelt der Propagandasender Press TV heute, und zitiert Mahmoud:

„Iran’s efforts to proceed with giant national oil, gas and petroleum projects by [Iranian] experts have cut the dependence bonds with other economic powers and multinational companies,“ IRNA quoted President Ahmadinejad as saying.

Daher werden wohl auch im Juli statt dem benötigten Dutzend nur drei Tankschiffe mit Benzin an iranischen Gestaden angelegt haben. Es muß sich hierbei um einen sehr großen Sieg der Islamischen Republik handeln. Sonst werden in Teheran die Schlangen an den Tankstellen nämlich bald ziemlich lang.

Ein interessantes Rechenbeispiel zur iranischen Ölökonomie macht derweil enduring america auf:

Es scheint, dass die EU nach Jahren des Zögerns, Abwartens und Geschäftemachens sich zu schärferen Sanktionen gegen den Iran durchgerungen hat.

Die WELT hat die “Mediencharta für Integration” dokumentiert, die die “niedersächsischen Medien” unterschreiben sollen. Das ganze ist eine Idee der dortigen CDU-Sozialministerin Aygül Özkan. Vor allem sollen die “niedersächsischen Medien” sich damit selbst verpflichten, “eine kultursensible Sprache” anzuwenden, “die interkulturelle Öffnung” zu fördern und “die interkulturelle Kompetenz” zu stärken.

Wie sich das wohl anhört, so eine “kultursensible Sprache”? Was wohl damit und mit dem Rest gemeint ist? Was genau soll man denn nun nicht mehr lesen und hören dürfen?

And now for something completely different… der Iranische Staatsrundfunk meldet:

Millionen Muslime haben in Indonesien in die falsche Richtung gebetet.

Wer sich wie fälschlich angewiesen in Richtung Westen verbeuge, bete Richtung Afrika statt wie Muslimen vorgeschrieben auf das zentrale Heiligtum des Islam, die Kaaba im saudischen Mekka, räumte der Vorsitzende des indonesischen Rates der Religionsgelehrten (Ulema) gestern ein. Der Rat gab eine neue Fatwa heraus, die Muslime beim Beten nun in Richtung Nordwesten dirigiert. In dem bevölkerungsreichsten muslimischen Land der Welt - fast 90 Prozent der 240 Millionen Einwohner sind Muslime - haben die Menschen immer mehr oder weniger in Richtung Westen gebetet. März wollte der Rat Klarheit schaffen und legte per Fatwa die Himmelsrichtung Westen für das Beten fest. Jetzt räumte er den Fehler ein und korrigierte ihn.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says Iran and North Korea are both revolutionary and independent nations trying to resist the world’s „greedy“ powers.
Meeting with his North Korean counterpart on the sidelines of an Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference in Geneva on Wednesday, Larijani hailed staunch bilateral ties between the two nations and thanked the North for its contributions to Iran under late Korean leader Kim Il-sung, ISNA reported.
For his part, North Korean speaker Choe Thae Bok highlighted his country’s full support for the Islamic Republic and the common goal of fighting US imperialism. [...] The North Korean parliament speaker invited Larijani to visit his country, which was welcomed by his Iranian counterpart.
